Palladiana Terrazzo flooring is a technique handed down through the centuries via the Venetian Renaissance. A variety of stones and aggregate are made into irregular shapes by hand using a small hammer. Spaces created by the shapes are then the sealed with a grout mix. The hardened floor is then mechanically ground, honed and polished. The entire floor is then sealed with a protective wax sealer revealing the beautiful patterns and colours in the stone.

Palladiana flooring is suitable for both residential and commercial applications. Due to the large variety of marbles available there are infinite colour options. Monterra expert floor layers can also insert guide lines, and draw backgrounds, geometric and ornamental motifs into Palladiana flooring.
